Capture and transform ideas into 3-D models of proposed buildings and communities
using high-level design software, such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD Architectural Design, 3D Studio Max;
Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office applications to draft sketches and assist with designing presentations for proposed projects;
Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs and graphically represent building plans;
Generate and develop construction documents, sketches, and plans for residential and commercial buildings;
Draft, produce, and manage construction drawings and design proposals;
Prepare cost estimates, contracts, and budgeting for specific projects and communicate with developers and clients, especially those from South Korea;
Research and analyze development standards in regard to building codes, by-laws, city municipal rules, and ADA compliance codes for relevant projects;
Identify each project’s scope of work, proposed phases, and budget breakdowns to support teams, clients, consultants who need communication in Korean;
Coordinate onsite visits and field reviews to meet with Korean-speaking builders and contractors to supervise construction process in relation to design specifications;
Represent architect on construction site, ensuring builder compliance with design specifications and advising Korean-speaking contractors on design corrections, under architect’s supervision;
Communicate with Korean-speaking consultants, contractors, and clients to coordinate and advance architectural design process.
