Set within a cul-de-sac neighborhood, this custom residence is designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings while offering a refined, contemporary interpretation of the modern farmhouse.
The architectural language blends clean, simple massing with carefully articulated roof forms. Standing seam metal roofs and cementitious siding create a timeless palette, complemented by dark-framed windows that provide contrast and rhythm across the façades. The composition balances vertical and horizontal elements, breaking down the overall scale while maintaining a cohesive identity.
A welcoming entry sequence is established through a recessed porch and a layered approach to circulation, guiding visitors from the driveway to the front door through landscaped pathways. The attached garage is integrated seamlessly into the overall form and remaining consistent with the home’s contemporary aesthetic.
Large window openings are strategically placed to maximize natural light and frame views of the surrounding neighborhood. Interior spaces are organized to promote indoor-outdoor connectivity, with primary living areas oriented toward the landscape to create a sense of openness and calm.
This project reflects a careful balance between modern design principles and contextual sensitivity—resulting in a residence that feels both grounded in its environment and distinctly refined.
