We could not be more pleased with the design and construction of a master suite addition to our small two bedroom home!  Working with Kevin and Gordon on this project was enjoyable, with lots of back and forth and superb ideas by them.  As you can see in the pictures, the room was designed with lots of windows and a vaulted ceiling.  Their attention to detail was extraordinary.  We bid out the project to four contractors, one said it was some of the best plans he ever saw for this kind of project.  We ultimately used a contractor that GKW was associated with since their bid was about 30% less than the next lowest bid.  This contractor turned out to be a gem as well (Roberto Flamenco), finishing the addition with superb quality in less than 3 months with people working almost every day, 6 days a week.

We had a great experience working with Gordon and the rest of the team at GKW Architects. They handled exceptionally well a construction project from the very first idea, through the initial design options, drafting the plans, iterating through our feedback, submitting the plans for approval with the county, making adjustments for the comments, through the final approval. In discussions, they explained all the options very clearly and took the time to answer all our questions. They worked very efficiently, and within the initially agreed budget. Overall, we are very satisfied with their work. We would definitely use their services again. Highly recommended!
